from: http://www.sztuka-fabryka.be/review/audio01.htm Greypark "I'm learning to undo the magic crap that covers up the higher heavens of magical beauty" [CD-Rom] Greypark are Pilvari Pirtola and Plaa here featuring Rusakko, both from Finland. On this CD-Rom which is a collection of some of their music there are 7 tracks in various styles. The first 2 tracks sounds as soft guitar music using continuous the same little accords combined with vocals that sounds as Gregorian chant and toy rhythms. These two tracks remember us of the early home recording music from the home-tape scene of the mid eighties. It has an dark down atmosphere around it because of the slow repetitive simple sounds. The 3rd track 'Electric Robot' is one of the best tracks on this CD. It is a mix of dark elektro and industrial music but all very down and dark. It is a song that last 5 minutes and deserves to have its place on industrial collectors. It is a pity that after this nice track a bad one is dropped in your ear, also the 5th and 6th track can not take our attention after the brilliant 'Electric Robot'. Only the last track 'Supermodel' can make us warm again. It is again and industrial track with some clicks&cuts themes. This band has some potential but needs some time to grow and work on its sound because of the extreme variety in quality of music. Besides a few good songs also bad ones. Mainly their music has a down dark atmosphere.
